Myriam Plonque, CEO
After more than 15 years as a nurse, Myriam Plonque is pursuing her passion for caregiving in a new way through her new company Immaculate Homecare Corp.
Myriam has been a nurse since 2007. She recently has a DNP in nursing practice. She also has a Master’s degree in Nursing Administration and Business Administration. Before Immaculate Homecare Corp, Myriam was working as both a nurse case manager and a bedside nurse.
“While I was working as a case manager, I would often go to people’s homes to help them with things like learning to change their bandages and educating them on their disease process and management. But what I learned was, while I may have been there to care for the wound, I was also caring for the person holistically. The time I was able to spend with those patients was incredibly valuable. Even having 30 minutes to make sure they were getting what they needed could make a huge difference and that work was fulfilling for me and makes me very proud of what I am doing. There is no greater joy to my heart than helping those who are really in needs,” Myriam said.
Immaculate Homecare Corp specializes in helping families care for their loved ones so they can focus on spending quality time together.
Immaculate Homecare Corp offers free in-home consultations and works with each client to create a flexible, affordable care plan based on a person’s individual needs. Services offered include care such as helping with grooming, bathing, ambulation, medication management and care management as well as respite care, meal preparation, laundry, light housekeeping, companionship and transportation.
